Continuing Our Commitment to Wildlife Conservation and Sustainability

We are delighted to announce the renewal of our corporate partnership with the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), reaffirming our commitment to supporting wildlife conservation, sustainability, and positive environmental action.

Over the past year, our partnership with ZSL has been far more than a sponsorship. It has provided valuable opportunities for our team, clients, and partners to engage directly with the incredible work being carried out by one of the world’s leading conservation organisations.

Endersham is committed to delivering cleaner, greener, and more sustainable commercial cleaning and facilities services, we believe that organisations have a responsibility to contribute to a healthier planet. Our continued partnership with ZSL reflects that commitment and supports efforts to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and preserve biodiversity for future generations.

A Partnership in Action

Throughout the past year, we have had the privilege of experiencing firsthand the impact of ZSL’s work.

One of the highlights was taking part in a volunteering day at London Zoo alongside members of our team and several of our clients. Working alongside ZSL keepers, volunteers helped maintain animal enclosures and prepare animal feed while learning more about the conservation programmes that support endangered species around the world. It was a rewarding experience that demonstrated how small actions can contribute to much larger conservation efforts.

Our team also enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of London Zoo, where we met some of the zoo’s most remarkable residents, including Asian short-clawed otters, okapi, pygmy hippos, and Humboldt penguins. Hearing directly from the expert keepers provided valuable insight into the dedication, knowledge, and care involved in animal welfare, alongside the crucial conservation work taking place both in the UK and internationally.

Learning and Inspiring Change

A key element of our partnership has been the opportunity to learn from experts and share knowledge with our own clients and stakeholders.

Earlier this year, we were proud to host our first Sustainability Breakfast Event in partnership with ZSL. Bringing together clients and industry partners, the event focused on practical approaches to sustainability and how organisations can move beyond good intentions to create meaningful environmental impact.

The session included presentations from ZSL’s sustainability experts, who shared valuable insights into reducing waste, tackling plastic pollution, and adopting more sustainable practices. Discussions also explored how circular economy principles can be applied within cleaning and facilities services to deliver measurable benefits for businesses, their people, and the environment.

Seeing the Wider Impact

Our partnership has also enabled us to attend a number of ZSL events that showcase the broader impact of their work.

We were inspired to attend an evening celebrating ZSL’s EDGE Fellows, where conservationists from across Latin America and the Pacific shared the important work they are leading to protect some of the world’s most unique and endangered species. Hearing directly from the fellows highlighted not only the environmental challenges they face but also the positive difference that conservation can make to local communities.

We have also attended ZSL events focused on sustainability, conservation achievements, diversity, and the future of wildlife protection. These events have provided valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded organisations, understand emerging environmental challenges, and see firsthand how long-term investment in conservation delivers meaningful results.

Looking Ahead

As we enter another year of partnership, we look forward to continuing to support ZSL’s mission while helping raise awareness of the vital work they undertake every day.

We are incredibly proud of the experiences, learning opportunities, and positive impact this partnership has already created. From volunteering alongside keepers and hosting sustainability events to learning from conservation experts and seeing the real-world outcomes of ZSL’s programmes, the partnership has reinforced our belief that collaboration is essential to creating a more sustainable future.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at ZSL for their ongoing support and partnership. In particular, we would like to thank Lauren Jones, whose enthusiasm, guidance, and dedication have helped make this relationship so rewarding over the past year. We are grateful for her support and look forward to continuing our work together.

Together with ZSL, we remain committed to supporting conservation, championing sustainability, and helping create a cleaner, greener future for generations to come.
